Codi Agent is a versatile tool in the AskCodi suite, allowing users to integrate different functionalities like Web Scrappers or File Retrievers based on their coding needs.

Step-by-Step Usage Guide

1. Login

First, log in to the AskCodi platform:

After logging in:

  • Navigate to your dashboard.
  • Click on Codi Agent to access its features.

3. Selecting Tools

In Codi Agent:

  • Choose the tool you need based on your use case.
    • Options include Web Scrappers or File Retrievers.

4. Using File Retriever

To use the File Retriever:

  • Ensure that you have a connected data source.

5. Connecting a Datasource

To connect a data source:

  • Go to the Datasource tab.
  • Choose to connect NEW DATASOURCE.
  • Choose to connect with either a local file or a GitHub repository.
  • If you choose GitHub repository, you will need the access token for your account. Instructions to get the token are available here.

6. Selecting a Datasource in Codi Agent

Once the datasource is added:

  • Return to Codi Agent.
  • Select the newly added datasource from the list of available sources.
  • IMPORTANT Click on Save after adding datsource or changing any setting of agent.

7. Asking Questions

With the datasource connected:

  • You can now ask specific questions related to the datasource or other coding queries.
